More and more bikers are videoing the ride outs these days as a great way to record the fun and camaraderie of riding in a pack or as a lone rider on a touring adventure what a great way to show others your journey and adventure, also could be a good way to help new riders on how to ride in a pack especially these days as our roads are very dangerous place, with very careless drivers around.
So on a more practical side of things you could have 2 cameras on board front and back to keep any eye on whats happening front or back especially if it involves an accident, or the best way is to use a head cam, More and more daily commuters have been reported using head mounted cameras what could turn out to be a useful evidence of bad driving in the event of a claim, also a growing number of London cyclist and motorbike couriers are using them as a way to capture bad driving . The other day I also noticed Motorbike Instructor using them, what a great teaching aid.
You could use your mobile phone, digital stills camera or even a handheld video camera, but they are not specific for the job so not easy to handle and most of all not easy to either mount on the motorbike or helmet, so i have gone straight into action cams
I could go on and on about there uses as I am sure the readers will also be able to think of other uses just think of the fun you could have. There are many sites offering these action cam for sale with even specialist site springing up as they become more popular but for now all I have done is checked out what is available at Amazon as they star rate the items, so thought this might help. So in the next couple of days will post an article on Head cams keep an eye out for it
