Betamotor Euro 350 Cruiser

A replacement for the old Jonathan., It’s very reliable and economical and maintenance is cheap thanks to long service intervals The seat is at least quite low for that cruiser feel, with a comfy upright riding position, the low-tech single make anything over 80mph a bit of a struggle. There’s quite a bit of vibration through the pegs at high speed, but the bike is resonably buzz free if you ride more slowly. The only thing you have to watch through town is trail bike style snatchiness at low revs in high gears – otherwise, good mirrors, slim profile and that low seat make it just right for threading through traffic. You also get decent Grimeca brakes (front disc, rear drum) and in fact the bike doesn’t at all feel as if it’s been built down to a price – the paintwork is deep and looks as if it will stand up to a hard, salty UK winter. Well-built and fun – worth a look making it a reasonable all rounder.
