One book I have found extremely useful is a book by Vincent Duffy called Duffy’s cheaper choices, Alternatives to motorway service staions.
Thanks to Duffys cheaper choices I can easily find my way to a hearty breakfast at a price that won’t break the bank also the majority are a lot biker friendly than the usual service station. The books gives clear directions, price information and opening hours. All this plus interesting observations or facts along the way. A smashing read, and an essential for your saddle bags, dont leave home without it a must have book. check it out on Amazon,
